1) How long have you been taking Pilates at Vault? Ever since a bright-eyed, beautiful
blonde with a broom (Stef) saw me peeking into her under-construction first studio, in
early 2006.
2) How would you describe your experience with Pilates over the years? Stef introduced
me to Pilates and it has been life changing. Never one to exercise, I fell in love with the
practice, the studio and the hand-picked and highly trained instructors.
3) Who are your favorite teachers and why? There have been many wonderful and
motivating instructors over the years. I appreciate all of them, past and present, for the
individuality and energy they bring to class every day.
4) What’s your favorite thing to do in your free time, outside of fitness? Outside of
Pilates, I love spending time with my husband whether we are doing nothing or going
crazy. I love him to pieces and cherish every minute we have together.
5) What’s one thing most of us don’t know about you? Crazy as it sounds, all my life I
wanted to be able to sing. I mean for a big recording label, on a concert stage,
superbowl half-time, etc. I can't sing Happy Birthday. So sad.
6) What do you feel is the most rewarding thing about Pilates? This question requires
two answers. Most rewarding things about Vault Pilates are: One, the way my body
changed for the better and has gotten stronger, more flexible and generally healthier:
Two, the camaraderie that exists and the friendships I have made truly are special.
7) If you could share any advice to others who have never been to vault, what would it
be? I tell people all the time that Vault is the place to go for fitness, fun, class variety,
every level challenge, energy and motivation. I have never gone anywhere else all
these years.
