1)How long have you been practicing barre? Why did you decide to teach? I have been practicing barre since 2015! I decided to teach when the opportunity presented itself to me through Vault barre training to challenge myself to become more outgoing while learning about what I love- fitness!
2) Why do you love to teach barre? I like to teach barre to encourage and uplift others around me in a fun and welcoming environment.
3) What is your favorite workout to do in your free time? In my free time I enjoy working out in a variety of ways to keep it interesting. I enjoy strength training, barre, yoga, pilates, cycling, and long walks!
4) What’s one thing about you that most people don’t know? Most people don’t know that I am originally from Delaware, and I moved to South Florida only 2 years ago. I am a huge Philadelphia Eagles football fan, and I still travel many hours to attend as many games as possible!
5) What’s the most rewarding thing about teaching barre? The most rewarding thing about teaching barre is being given the ability to encourage others to do a little more than they think they are capable of alone.
6) What’s your favorite thing to do outside of fitness? Outside of fitness I enjoy reading books, baking, gardening, fishing and spending time with my husband, family, and friends.
7) What do you want newbies to know about barre? I think it is important for newbies to know that barre is made for everyone- both beginners and advanced. Also, the strength that is gained from barre is both mental and physical. Group fitness is more than a workout; it creates a community.
